Western Welding Services/ SPW specialises in Welding Equipment Sales, Service, Hire & Repair and is seeking an experienced Co-Ordinator to join their busy Work Shop team.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right applicant to play a key role in coordinating our Workshop Operations located at Spearwood, Perth. As the Workshop Coordinator, you will be managing all processing and reporting functions, ensuring that they are carried out according to set requirements and procedures. As SPW is a major supplier of equipment to the market, you will be required to engage with and support the broader sales team with their Customer needs.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate repairs of welding equipment and associated job cards
  • Establish relationship with suppliers regarding processing and receipting of purchase orders for parts required and follow up to prevent delay in workshop jobs
  • Establish relationship with clients during current workshop work repairs and direct sales
  • Raising of new jobs, follow up and completion of all documentation required
  • Raising and following up invoices
  • Maintain up to date customer records
  • Answer incoming calls in an efficient and professional manner
  • Support the Workshop & overall business with its strong focus on SAFETY

 What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
